趁着七年级中国古代史学习的余热未消,学期结束的时候,历史组老师给学生们布置了一项特殊的暑假作业:以《我在方山修文物》为主题,任选一个在七年级历史学习中见过的文物图片,分小组复原一件“文物”。作品提倡废物利用,建议同学协作,要求记录过程,需要制作讲解ppt,并且在开学一周内交给老师一件实物。开学之后,同学们陆续递交了作品。作品选题丰富,从远古时期原始居民的建筑,经秦汉兵马俑、五铢钱,过隋唐唐三彩,到五代宋元的《清明上河图》、交子、活字印刷术,直至明清时期的瓷器、火炮,几乎涵盖了中国古代史学习中的各个历史时期。其间虽然有主题重合,但选用材料各不相同,做出的作品也因此各具巧思。下面是本次作业的不完全统计,让我们一起跟着同学们的作品穿越时空,随着先民的脚步,回顾来路:
The enthusiasm for studying ancient Chinese history has not disappeared. At the end of the semester, the history teachers assigned a special summer homework for the students: the theme is “Masters in Fangshan”. Students need to choose a picture of cultural relics that they have seen during the study of history in grade 7, and restore a “relic” in groups. It’s advocated waste utilization, recommended that students should cooperate and it’s required to record process, to make a presentation with PPT and to give a piece of material to the teacher within one week of the beginning of this term. After the beginning of the school, the students submitted their works one after another. The topic of the works are rich, covering almost every historical period in the study of ancient Chinese history, from the buildings of primitive residents in ancient times, then the Qin and Han Terra Cotta Warriors, five baht money, next the tri-colored glazed pottery of Sui and Tang Dynasty, to the Five Dynasties Song and Yuan Dynasties, the Qingming Shanghe map, the Jiaozi, the movable type printing, to the porcelain and artillery of the Ming and Qing Dynasties. Although there are overlapping themes, the materials used are different, and the works made are ingenious. The following is the incomplete statistics of this assignment. Let’s follow the students’ works through time and space, and follow the footsteps of the ancestors to look back to the way:

培根说:“读史可以使人明智”,原因之一就是历史可以让人们知来处,并通过来路的经验,更好地应对当下发生的事情,并窥探归途。但很多历史文明却因年代久远,堙灭在尘土之中。这样一来,文物就成为追溯历史,探寻文明发展轨迹,还原文明真实面貌的有力佐证。中学生学习历史,其中有一项核心素养就是坚持唯物史观,史料实证。本次《我在方山修文物》暑假作业,让学生自己动手,通过一笔一画,一裁一剪,生动有趣地复习了所学知识,感悟了文明发展,体会了先民智慧,增强了他们的民族自豪感和爱国主义情感,不仅受到他们的极大欢迎,当作品被展示出来时,也受到了其他老师的围观、赞赏,让老师们看到了学生身上的学习潜力和动力,为下一阶段的教和学开创了新思路!
Bacon once said, “Learning about history can make people wise”. One of the reasons is that history can let people know where they have come from, better cope with what is happening now with experience, and peek into the way home. However, many historical civilizations have been annihilated in the dust because of the long history. In this way, cultural relics have become a powerful evidence for tracing back to history, exploring the track of civilization development, and restoring the truth of civilization. One of the key competencies of middle school students learning history is to adhere to historical materialism and historical evidence. This summer homework -- “Masters in Fangshan”, can let the students do it themselves, and give them vivid and interesting review of what they have learned through one painting or one cut. The understanding of the development of civilization, the wisdom of the ancestors, and the enhancement of their sense of national pride and patriotism were not only greatly welcomed by them, but also attracted onlookers and got other teachers’ appreciation when the works were displayed; so the teachers saw the learning potential and motivation of the students, and opened up new ideas for the next stage of teaching and learning!
