金秋时节，天高云淡。瓜果飘香，丹桂情浓。10月14日，南京外国语学校方山分校举行第二届体育节开幕式，活动由小学部胡铧文同学和高中部王宇晨同学主持。此次体育节的主题是——青春无限、筑梦方山。
On October 14th, the opening ceremony for the 2nd Sports Festival was held at our school. It was a clear autumn day and the air was rich with the fragrance of melon, fruit, and osmanthus. The events were led by Hu Huawen from the Primary school and Wang Yuchen from the Junior High. The theme of the Sports Festival was -- Youth Is Infinite, Realizing Dreams in Fangshan.
庄严肃穆的升旗仪式结束后，我校第二届体育节正式拉开帷幕，宋长杰副校长和陈礼斌副校长致开幕词，希望同学们在今后的几周里，发扬顽强拼搏、团结协作的精神，力争在赛场上赛出风格，赛出水平，为校园添彩。
After the formal flag-raising ceremony, the 2nd Sports Festival officially began. Vice Principal Song Changjie and Vice Principal Chen Libin delivered an opening speech. They hope that the students can maintain their hard-working and cooperative attitudes in the coming weeks. Both speakers also hoped that students would show competitive style and spirit in order to bring honour and prestige to the school.
随后，来自小学部二年级（5）班的马仙仙同学发表了热情洋溢的演讲，表达了对此次体育节的美好祝愿。
Later, Ma Xianxian from Grade 2 Class 5 gave an enthusiastic speech expressing her best wishes for the sports festival.
值得一提的是，活动中还进行了我校特色体育项目展示。同学们各显身手、英姿飒爽，高尔夫、跆拳道、体育舞蹈、击剑等特色体育项目轮番登场，赢得了现场阵阵掌声。
It is worth mentioning that our school’s featured sports such as golf, taekwondo and dance were shown as part of the opening ceremony. Each sport had its own performance, during which students displayed their talents and vitality, and to which the audience responded with applause.
今天，体育节的序幕已经拉开，运动的舞台已经搭起，期待全校师生能以满腔的热情、昂扬的斗志、严谨的作风，顽强拼搏，团结协作，赢得胜利，展示风采，让竞技与文明之花在南外方山分校绽放的更加艳丽。
Today marked the prelude of the sports festival, and the stage for celebrating sports has been set. All teachers and students of our school are expected to be enthusiastic, have a positive attitude, work hard, cooperate, be successful and be courteous to each other so that both competitiveness and civility can flourish at NFLSFC.
