10月15日，由南京外国语学校、南外艺术联盟发起的“美丽中国70年”——南外艺术联盟师生艺术作品巡回展（南外方山站）开幕式在我校初中部教学楼隆重举行。
On October 15th, the opening ceremony to celebrate “70 years of beautiful China” was held in the junior high teaching building of NFLSFC. The exhibition is sponsored by NFLS and NFLS Art Union and displays art works done by teachers and students of the NFLS Art Union.
南京外国语学校方山分校朱善萍校长、周世东书记、宋长杰副校长、Martin副校长、陈礼斌副校长、Daniel副校长以及特邀嘉宾南京外国语学校艺术教研组组长、南外艺术联盟会长曹启海老师，南京外国语学校雨花国际学校冯金宝老师和我校师生近百人出席了此次开幕式。开幕式由我校八年级邓荃文同学主持。
Principal Zhu Shanping, Secretary Zhou Shidong, Vice Principal Song Changjie, Vice Principal Martin, Vice Principal Chen Libin, Vice Principal Daniel of NFLSFC attended the opening ceremony. Special guests Mr. Cao, the leader of NFLS Art Teaching and Research Group and chairman of NFLS Art Union, Mr. Feng of Nanwai Yuhua International School alongside teachers and students of our school were also invited. The opening ceremony was led by Deng Quanwen, from Grade 8.

Our school strives to create varied art courses to promote children’s all-round development and spiritual extension. 南京外国语学校曹启海老师表示，把学生的作品放在本校及其他分校展出，会激发学生的成就感和上进心，同时也会在校园中营造出浓浓的艺术氛围，这就是巡展的意义。希望能够借本次活动，充分展现同学们的艺术气质，培养同学们的艺术审美情趣，创作出更多优秀的作品。此外，我校的优秀作品也在南外本部同期展出，曹老师诚挚邀请南外方山分校的同学们去南外本部交流与学习。
Cao Qihai, a teacher from NFLS, said displaying the students’ art works on NFLSFC and other NFLS affiliated schools will inspire the students’ sense of accomplishment, and also create a strong artistic atmosphere in the campus, which is the meaning of the exhibition. He hopes to fully demonstrate the artistic temperament of the students, cultivate students’ aesthetic taste, and create more pieces of excellent work by holding the exhibition. In addition, the excellent pieces of work from our school were also exhibited at NFLS. Mr. Cao invited the students from NFLSFC to communicate with and learn from NFLS.

During the event, Secretary Zhou Shidong and Mr. Cao also gave certificates to student representatives who received awards for their excellent works.
初二（6）班的王祎同学作为获奖学生代表发言，他表示未来将在绘画道路上继续努力学习，创造更多优秀作品。
As the student representative, Wang Yi, the student from Grade 8 Class 6, gave a speech. He said he will continue to study hard and create more excellent pieces of work in the future.
本次艺术作品展得到了全校师生们的积极响应、热情参与。展览共设三个展厅，分别设立于小学部、初中部和科技高中教学楼共享空间。参展作品来自于南外本部和南外集团各分校，共200余件作品参展。作品种类涵盖了中国书画、摄影、油画、版画、水彩（粉）画、综合材料等多种艺术形式。集中展现了祖国壮丽河山和秀美风景，充分表达了师生们对祖国、对人民的热爱，展现了南外人的家国情怀和良好的精神风貌。
The teachers and students of our school were positive and enthusiastic about the art exhibition. There are three exhibitions, which are being held in the primary, the middle and the high teaching buildings respectively. There are more than 200 works exhibited, coming from NFLS and NFLS affiliated schools. The works cover a variety of art forms such as Chinese painting and calligraphy, photography, oil painting, printmaking, watercolor (powder) painting, and mixed media. They show the majestic rivers and mountains and beautiful scenery of our motherland, fully show the teachers and students’ love for our motherland and the people, and show the feelings to our motherland and good spirit of NFLS.
