为提升我校班主任专业化水平，加强班主任队伍建设，10月16日，南外方山分校召开了全体班主任主题研讨培训会。此次培训的主题是“如何上好一节主题班会课”，活动由南京市班主任基本功大赛第一名、南京市参加江苏省班主任比赛集训导师沈磊老师主讲，宋长杰副校长和李小福副校长全程参与培训。
On October 16th, NFLSFC held a training seminar to enhance professional development and team building for homeroom teachers. The training focused on how to deliver a a good homeroom class and was led by Shen Lei, who won first prize in the Nanjing Basic Teaching Skills competition and represented Nanjing in the Jiangsu Province Homeroom Teacher Trainer competition.Vice Principal Song Changjie and Vice Principal Li Xiaofu attended the training seminar.
培训会伊始，沈老师点出了主题班会的重要作用，即学生实现自我教育和班主任专业化成长的平台。沈老师首先介绍了班会课的分类，即常规班会、主题班会和微型班会。其中，主题班会课是班主任对学生进行思想品德教育的一种重要载体，一节好的主题班会课能让学生的内心受到激荡与共振，灵魂得到抚慰与唤醒。随后，沈老师从主题班会的现状引入了本次培训的主要内容。内容包含主题班会的设计原则、内容范围、四个针对、形式、素材、实施与评价。在这个过程中，每个方面沈老师都用代表性的班会课做案例，展示了他自己的课堂设计过程和实施过程。培训内容深入浅出，理论与实际相结合，生动而有趣，鲜活的案例给大家带来了不少启发和触动。
Mr. Shen began the meeting by pointing out the importance of homeroom classes, which can serve as a platform for students’ self-guided learning and for homeroom teachers’ professional development. Homeroom classes can be divided into three types: regular homeroom classes, themed homeroom class meetings and “mini” class meetings. Themed homeroom class meetings are a key method for homeroom teachers to deliver ideological and moral education to the students. A good themed homeroom class meeting can have a great emotional impact upon the students and help to soothe their worries. After having talked about the three types of homeroom class, Mr. Shen moved on to the main body of the meeting. During this section, he talked about the lesson planning principles, range of content, the “four targets”, style, required materials, delivery methods and evaluation of homeroom class meetings. Mr. Shen used real-life examples to illustrate each of the above aspects, and showed his own lesson planning and delivery process. The ideas put forward during the training were simple yet profound, and combined both theory and practice. Including real-life examples ensured the training was engrossing and helped to inspire attendees.
培训会上，沈老师还与参会的班主任老师进行了互动交流，并分享了相关经验，赢得了现场阵阵掌声。
During the training, Mr. Shen also spoke directly with the homeroom teachers in attendance, sharing his own experience. Attendees showed their appreciation with a round of applause.
最后，李小福副校长在总结讲话中充分肯定了我校班主任工作，同时强调了主题班会的重要性，他希望全体老师不断创新德育课程思路，总结德育工作规律，探求德育课程的开发实施，不断提高班主任工作专业化水平，促进我校德育工作再上新台阶。
To conclude the meeting, Vice Principal Li Xiaofu fully affirmed the work of the homeroom teachers, and once again emphasized the importance of homeroom class meetings. He expressed his hopes that all teachers would continue in developing and innovating the moral education curriculum and its overall working principles. Vice Principal Li also hopes that homeroom teachers will continue in their professional development in order to improve moral education at NFLSFC.
事半功倍始于新，做好班主任培训工作意义重大。此次培训会秉承针对性和实效性原则，从班主任工作的实际需要出发，为做好我校教育教学工作奠定了良好的基础。
It is said that twice as much can be accomplished with half the effort when starting afresh; thus, it is highly important to properly train homeroom teachers. Training should be both relevant, effective and based upon participants’ actual needs. This will help to lay a good foundation for the school’s education.
