读万卷书，行万里路。近日，南京外国语学校方山分校开展了丰富多彩的秋季社会实践活动，让同学们走出校园，探索实践，收获成长。
Reading ten thousand books is like traveling ten thousand miles; we can learn a lot not only from study, but also by exploring the world around us. NFLSFC recently organized a variety of autumn-themed excursions, giving students the chance to get off-campus to gain new experiences, learn and grow.
七年级的同学们来到了大金山国防园，在教官的带领下，开展了一次特别的社会实践活动。

八年级的同学们走进了阳山碑材寻本溯源；汤山溶洞感受自然；地质博物馆探索奥秘。
The students of Grade 8 went to Yangshan Monument to explore its culture, To Tangshan Cave to experience nature, And to the Geological Museum to explore the mysteries of the world around us.
观察、记录、学习、思考，活动精彩纷呈，我们收获满满。
We examined interesting artifacts, took notes, learnt and reflected. The trip was both wonderful
And fulfilling.
高一年级的同学们去了哪里呢？蔚蓝的天空，艳红的枫叶，青春的身影，组成了一幅美景就在栖霞山。
So where did the senior high students go on their trip? Somewhere with blue sky, And brilliant red maple leaves, Where our silhouettes, Met with nature to create a beautiful view On Qixia Hill.
一座栖霞山，半部金陵史。我们亲近自然、赏枫看景、谈天说地。
Qixia Hill reflects Jinling’s changes over time A place where we can Dive into nature Immerse ourselves in the beautiful scenery And talk about all that surrounds us.
实践是最好的课堂。在行中有所学，在学中有所思。此次秋季社会实践活动让同学们开阔了眼界，增长了见识，收获了成长。
Sometimes the best lessons are those learnt outside the classroom. Students can learn through experiencing new things, and be mindful during this process. The recent excursion allowed the students to broaden their horizons, enrich their knowledge and improve themselves.
