今年是南京外国语学校方山分校教育教学质量攻坚年，又借着江宁区教育局中小学教学检查之东风，我校在12月23日和25日迎来了江宁区高中和初中教学质量检查。
All NFLSFC teachers have been working hard this year to further improve education and teaching at our school and take the inspection of primary and middle schools in Jiangning as an opportunity to further improve high quality educational outcomes. On December 23rd and 25th, Jiangning Teaching Inspection Team came to our school.
12月23日下午，江宁区高中教学检查组莅临南京外国语学校方山分校，通过听取汇报、查阅资料、走进课堂等方式对我校高中部开展了教学检查。高一年级组长李耀亮老师做了大量的准备工作，并全程陪同检查组人员。
On the afternoon of December 23rd, Jiangning Teaching Inspection Team visited NFLSFC to conduct the teaching inspection of senior high through listening to reports, checking materials, and observing classes, with Mr. Li, the group leader of Grade 10, as company. Before the inspection, he also made full preparations.
检查组一行首先听取了宋长杰副校长关于高中部教学工作的汇报，从课程体系、师资队伍、学科建设等方面对我校高中部的教学工作进行详细了解。同时，对我校高中部的教学计划、教师备课笔记、学生作业批改情况、教研记录等材料进行细致的检查。检查组的专家们还深入课堂听课，听取了宋长杰、丁佳佳、韩黎源、熊纳等老师的课堂教学，并且全程观摩了高中语文组集体备课。检查中，我校高中部的教师们对教学环节精心设计，充分关注并调动学生的学习积极性，呈现出了一节节优质高效的课堂。
The inspection team first listened to the report given by Vice Principal Song Changjie, who talked about the teaching practices in senior high, including course system, teaching staff, and subject development. Then, they checked the teaching plan, lesson preparation notes, students' homework, workshop records and other related materials. The experts of the inspection team also observed the classes given by Mr. Song, Ms. Ding, Mr. Han, and Ms. Xiong alongside observing lesson preparation of Chinese Department in Grade 10. During the inspection, they found the teachers of senior high plan lessons meticulously, create enthusiasm for putting students’ learning into practice, presenting high quality and efficient classes.
通过一系列活动，检查组一行充分肯定了我校高中部的教学工作，教师教学基本功扎实，课堂结构安排合理，以学生的课堂知识掌握情况为落脚点，课堂教学效果好，为打造优质课堂付出了不少努力和心血。
After the inspection, the inspection team gave recognition to the teaching practices of senior high. They praised that the teachers have a solid foundation in teaching skills, base lessons upon students’ understanding of the knowledge, and make great efforts to improve their effectiveness as educators.
规范教学提质量
12月25日下午，江宁区教学检查组莅临南京外国语学校方山分校，对我校初中部进行教学检查。
On the afternoon of December 25th, the Jiangning Teaching Inspection Team came to our school to conduct a teaching inspection of the junior high.
检查组一行首先听取了我校教学管理中心张玉主任的汇报，张玉主任从学校理念、特色课程体系、师资队伍培养、学科建设等方面进行汇报，并且就我校初中部的教学特色和亮点进行重点讲解。听完汇报后，检查组专家随机检查了初中部10位教师的备课笔记、听课笔记，详细了解教学“五认真”情况，并检查了教学管理中心准备好的教学视导、课程建设与改革、教研组和备课组建设、教师队伍培养等材料。
The inspection team first listened to the report given by Director Zhang Yu of the Teaching Management Center. Director Zhang Yu talked about our school' ideas to education, distinctive course system, teacher training, subject development, and the teaching characteristics of junior high. After listening to the report, experts from the inspection team checked the lesson preparation notes and lesson observation notes of 10 teachers in the junior high to learn more about “five earnestness in teaching”, and checked the material of teaching guidance, course development and reform, improvement of subject and lesson preparation groups, and teacher training.
检查组的专家们在听取汇报后，还深入教学一线，分别听取了柳咏梅、赵超、陶健、姜明章、张琰、篮陵等老师的课堂教学，并且全程认真观摩了初二英语组的集体备课，主要调研了集体备课是否关注学情，是否有骨干教师的参与、引领，组员是否全员参与、热烈研讨、集思广益，是否有针对问题的分析及解决问题的有效措施等。
After listening to the report, the experts of the inspection team also observed classes given by Ms. Liu, Mr. Zhao, Mr. Tao, Mr. Jiang, Ms. Zhang, and Ms. Lan. They observed lesson preparation of English Department in Grade 8 to see whether the lesson preparation is in accordance with student needs, whether key teachers participate and give guidance, whether the team members are all involved, enthusiastic, brainstorm, and whether there are problem-oriented analysis and effective solutions.
检查结束后，检查组专家对检查结果进行现场反馈，检查组一行十分赞赏我校先进的办学理念、特色课程体系，充分感受到学生的全面发展和个性的张扬，非常欣赏我校的文化氛围，充分肯定了我校教育教学工作，对我校老师的课堂教学也给以充分肯定，认为老师能做到以学生的实际学情为出发点，突出学生的主体地位。
After the inspection, the experts of the inspection team gave on-site feedback on the inspection results. They greatly appreciated our school's advanced philosophy and characteristic curriculum system, and fully felt students' comprehensive development and their personality. They fully affirmed the education and teaching arrangements of our school and the teachers' teaching, evaluating that the teachers take students' needs into consideration and give prominence to the students as the centre of learning.
此次教学检查工作虽然顺利结束，尘埃落定，但是也为我校教师提供了一个提升自我的机会，更为今后我校教学工作指明了方向。接下来，我们将不忘初心、砥砺前行，继续细化教学管理工作，稳步提升我校教育教学质量，让美丽的方山之舟乘着强劲东风扬帆远航！
The inspection was successfully done and dusted, offering an opportunity for teachers to improve themselves, and pointing out the way for future teaching. Next, all NFLSFC teachers will remain true to our original intentions and forge ahead, continue to refine the teaching management work, and steadily achieve excellence in education and teaching quality. We believe our beautiful Ship of NFLSFC will sail swiftly into the bright future with the great eastern wind of this inspection!
