NFLSFC focused on "Promoting Thrift and Curbing Food Wastage" and "Having a Balanced Diet, Growing Up Healthily" and held a series of activities, creating a good atmosphere of diligence and thrift in the campus. The activities aimed to thoroughly implement the instructions given by the General Secretary Xi Jinping to curb food wastage and promote the traditional virtue of respecting labor, stopping food waste, being diligent and thrifty. 主题晨会共倡议
金秋送爽，阳光和煦。9月14日上午，南京外国语学校方山分校举行“厉行节约、反对浪费”主题晨会。升旗仪式上，来自二年级（12）中队的邓淳允、秦祐一、郑欣宜、李佳融同学和国际高中潘朱莉同学分别作了国旗下演讲，向全体师生发出“厉行节约、反对浪费”的倡议，号召全体师生做“珍惜粮食”的排头兵；做“文明就餐”的倡导者；做“光盘行动”的践行者；做“制止浪费”的监督者。
The golden autumn is cool and the sun is shining. On the morning of September 14th, NFLSFC held a morning meeting themed on "Promoting Thrift and Curbing Food Wastage". At the flag-raising ceremony, Deng Chunyun, Qin Youyi, Zheng Xinyi and Li Jiarong from Grade2 Class 12, as well as Pan Zhuli from the International High School gave speeches, calling on all teachers and students to cherish food, eat in a civilized manner, clear the plate and curb food wastage.

9月14日下午，南外方山分校各班级举行“厉行节约、反对浪费；均衡营养、健康成长”主题教育班会活动，各班同学们通过观看视频、演讲、小组讨论等多种形式，围绕主题并结合身边鲜活的事例分享了自己感悟和收获，深刻意识到浪费可耻，树立起崇尚节俭、反对铺张的价值导向。同时，通过此次活动还呼吁同学们从自己做起，从现在做起，为建设文明校园、节约型校园、美丽校园贡献出自己的一份力量。
On September 14th, NFLSFC delivered homeroom classes themed on "Promoting Thrift and Curbing Food Wastage" and "Having a Balanced Diet, Growing Up Healthily". Our students shared their experiences and what they had learned by watching videos, giving speeches and group discussions, knowing that it's shameful to waste food and becoming aware of diligence and thrift. The students were also called on to do what they can to create a civilized, resource-economical and beautiful campus.
宣传教育全覆盖
为大力营造“厉行节约、反对浪费”的良好风尚，学校充分利用橱窗、宣传栏等，通过张贴海报和宣传标语的形式，开展文明用餐、光盘行动、杜绝浪费等主题宣传，倡导同学们从当下开始，从珍惜一粒米、一滴水、一度电、一张纸等小事做起，日积月累，逐渐养成文明节约的好习惯。
NFLSFC has used bulletin boards to post various posters and slogans for launching civilized dining, clear the plate and avoid food waste campaign, promoting our students' awareness of cherishing grain, water, electricity and paper and other resources and helping them develop a good habit of being civilized and thrifty.
一粥一饭，当思来之不易；半丝半缕，恒念物力维艰。厉行节俭，反对浪费，不仅是一种美德，更是一种责任。让我们携手行动起来，从小事做起、从自身做起，将节俭落实在行动上，文明驻留在心灵中，形成勤俭节约，追求健康膳食的良好风尚。
When you have every bowl of rice and porridge, think about how much effort is paid. Being thrifty and curbing food waste is not only a virtue, but also a kind of responsibility. Let's go hand in hand to take action from now on, being civilized and promoting diligence and thrift.
