为进一步贯彻落实中国少年先锋队第八次全国代表大会的会议精神，充分发挥少先队立德树人的作用，11月6日，南京外国语学校方山分校召开了少先队第二次代表大会暨大队委竞选活动。
On November 6th, NFLSFC held a series of activities for the Second Young Pioneers Team Competition to call on the young pioneers to learn about the 8th National Congress of the Young Pioneers of China, provide moral guidance and be role models.
学校大队委选举工作始终秉承“自选、自建、自管”的原则，本次大队委候选人由各班中队通过报名、竞选演讲、民主投票的方式产生，共有24名品学兼优、组织管理能力突出的少先队员脱颖而出。正式竞选前，候选人们通过宣传海报、拉票演讲对正式竞选投票演讲进行一次次实践，让同学们全面了解自己。在这期间，同中队同学对候选人的竭力支持、候选人热情洋溢的演讲、每场演讲小观众的掌声，无不展示出作为南京外国语学校方山分校小学生所应有的团结、友爱、朝气蓬勃的精神面貌，让老师与同学们都格外期待少先队代表大会暨大队委竞选活动的到来。
The event, which involved student elections, maintained the standards of self-election, self-development, and self-management throughout. Each class put forward their candidates, who then gave a campaign speech. Finally, 24 candidates were elected. All elected candidates were chosen for performing well academically, alongside being capable in terms of organizational and management abilities. The candidates each created campaign posters and gave speeches to help spread their message and win the hearts of potential voters. During this period, NFLSFC primary school students showed their spirit of working as a team, being kind and energetic- the classmates showed their support, and the candidates delivered enthusiastic speeches with the audience giving a round of applause. The teachers and students were looking forward to the Young Pioneers Congress and the Young Pioneers Team Competition.
经过前期细致的准备，终于迎来了11月6日少先队第二次代表大会暨大队委竞选活动。南京外国语学校方山分校周世东书记、陈礼斌副校长、少先大队辅导员兰文洋老师、家长代表等参加了此次活动。
On November 6th, the event for the Second Young Pioneers Team Competition was held at NFLSFC. Secretary Zhou Shidong, Vice Principal Chen Libin, Lan Wenyang, the instructor, and parent representatives attended the event.
伴随着出旗曲，中国少年先锋队队旗在旗手的护卫下缓缓入场。会场响起了中国少年先锋队队歌《我们是共产主义接班人》，少先队员们神情庄严，认真歌唱。
Student members of the Young Pioneers took to the stage holding the organization's flag, accompanied of the "flag song". All the young pioneers sang the Young Pioneers team song, "We Are Proponents of Socialism".
周世东书记为此次活动致辞，他充分肯定了同学们在此次活动中展现出的热情。他强调，全体少先队员们要做到“四爱四美”，为胸前飘扬的红领巾增光添彩。要爱祖国，热爱中华民族，热爱中国共产党，做社会主义事业合格的建设者和接班人；要爱师长和同学，心怀感恩之心，感恩父母和师长，对身边的同学也要有关爱之心，共同进步；要爱科学，新时代科技的发展日新月异，同学们要努力学好知识和技能，长大后才能更好地为祖国和人民服务；要爱运动，学校为同学们提供了丰富且优质的运动环境和课程，同学们在运动的过程中要养成阳光向上的心态。同时，周世东书记希望全体少先队员们要做到心灵美，树立远大理想，为中华民族的伟大复兴而不懈努力；要做到行为美，讲文明、懂礼貌，自觉遵守各项行为规范；要做到语言美，不断学习先进的文化，紧跟时代前行，做社会文明的见证者和倡导者；要做到仪表美，仪容仪表，美之始也，同学们在日常学习生活中要规范自身的仪容仪表，真正展示出具有中国灵魂世界胸怀的现代英才应有的风采。
Afterwards, Secretary Zhou Shidong delivered a speech. He fully affirmed students' enthusiasm and emphasized that all the young pioneers must achieve "four loves and four beauties" to be proud of their "red scarves", which represent their membership as part of the Young Pioneers. He hoped students to love the motherland, the Chinese nation, the Communist Party of China, and be qualified builders and proponents of socialism; he hoped students to love teachers and classmates, be grateful to their parents and teachers. Secretary Zhou also hoped students to love science, work hard to develop themselves so that they can better serve the motherland and the people. He hoped the students to love sports- our school has provided students with good environment and varied courses, and the students should be positive. Secretary Zhou Shidong hoped that all the young pioneers set their sights high and make unremitting efforts for China's rejuvenation; the students should be civilized, be polite, be disciplined, keep learning, be a witness and advocate of social civilization and pay attention to their daily appearance to show the style of modern talents with Chinese soul and global vision.
少先大队辅导员兰文洋老师用一份细致全面的工作报告对2019-2020年少先大队工作进行了回顾，对上一届少先队大队委的辛勤工作给予了充分的肯定，同时也对新一年少先队工作做出了展望。
Ms. Lan presented work undertaken by young pioneers since the beginning of the 2019-2020 academic year. She fully affirmed their hard work and hoped the new young pioneers to do a good job.
此次少先队大队委的竞选环节包括竞选演讲和才艺展示两个部分。24位竞选者按照抽签顺序依次上台。在竞选演讲部分，他们从容淡定、气宇轩昂，演说内容将优秀的自己立体的呈现了出来，同时还展现出对胜任大队委工作的自信与期望。在才艺展示部分，诗歌朗诵，掷地有声；器乐演奏，声声悦耳；舞蹈表演，精彩绝伦；舞台剧表演，生动有趣……赢得了全场师生的阵阵掌声。
The campaign event for the Young Pioneers consisted of two parts: a series of campaign speeches and a talent show. Each of the 24 candidates came to the stage, drawing lots to decide the running order. During the speeches, the candidates were calm and confident to give their very best. The talent show was exceptional, with a range of wonderful performances including poetry recitation, music,dance, and drama, each of which were received with great applause.
本次竞选投票依旧采用“豆选”方式，每一位少先队员将手中的“黄豆选票”投给了心仪的候选人，在由家长代表担任的计票监督员公平、公正的监督下，现场选举产生了13名新一届少先队大队委。陈礼斌副校长当场宣布了南京外国语学校方山分校新一届小学大队委员名单。
Each young pioneer was given "beans" to use as their "ballot", and then they give the "beans" to candidates they thought would be most suitable. In order to ensure the election was conducted fairly, parent representatives supervised the voting process and counted the ballots. After the ballots had been counted, Vice Principal Chen Libin announced the newly elected 13 committee members of NFLSFC Primary School.
本次活动组建了新一届少先队大队委，充分展现了南京外国语学校方山分校少先队员们的风采，从小培养队员的责任与担当意识。相信新的一届大队委员定能发扬少先队“诚实、勇敢、团结、活泼”的光荣传统，带领同学们立志树德、勇敢前行，为中华民族伟大复兴接力奋斗！
This event played a crucial role in setting up the primary school's new Young Pioneers Team Committee and helped to show the young pioneers' style. It's believed that the new members would carry on the tradition of being honest, brave, united and energetic to be parts of the rejuvenation of the Chinese nation!
