The most glorious work is to learn from farmers and show their skills. On April 22nd and 23rd, NFLSFC's senior high school students had a two-day social practice in Lishui Special Education School.
同学们带着期待抵达目的地。短暂地整理内务之后，学农开营仪式随即开始。高二年级组长李耀亮老师寄语同学们要珍惜此次学农的机会，遵守基地的秩序，严于要求自我，勇于磨砺意志，在学农中感受别样的生活体验，在学农中满载而归！
The students were happy all the way. After a brief period of tidying up the dormitory, they held an opening ceremony. Mr. Li gave a speech, hoping that students should cherish this opportunity to learn farming, abide by the order of the base, be strict with themselves, have the courage to strengthen their willpower, get a different kind of life experience in learning farming, and learn something from these activities.
学农实践，精彩纷呈。同学们走进春意盎然的牡丹园，先后学习了温室种植、磨黄豆、搓草绳、果树施肥、种玉米等项目；也体验了户外野炊，自己动手包水饺的活动。从校园到田间，从理论到实践，在趣味横生的活动中，同学们感触颇深，受益匪浅，既有劳动的乐趣，也有合作的情谊。
The activities were wonderful. The students visited peony garden and learned about greenhouse planting, grinding soybeans, twisting grass rope, fertilizing fruit trees, planting corn. They also had the outdoor picnic and made dumplings by themselves. From the campus to the field, the students were deeply touched and learned a lot from the fun activities- they enjoyed the activities and learned to cooperate with others.
此外，同学们还学习了手语歌曲《少年》，在笨拙却又努力的手势比划中，在陌生而又新奇的活动体验里，同学们共同创造了属于他们的春日美好记忆。
In addition, the students also learned the sign language song “Youth”. They created their own beautiful memories by attending the event.
“木有所养，则根本固而枝叶茂，栋梁之材成；水有所养，则泉源壮而流派长，灌溉之利溥”。短短两天的学农活动，对同学们来说，既是一次身体的远行，也是一次心灵的远游。在本次学农社会实践中，同学们走出校园，走进自然，投入社会，积极参与学农实践，通过学习与体验，了解了农业生产活动，树立了劳动观念、劳动习惯以及吃苦耐劳的精神，学会了珍惜劳动成果，懂得了一份耕耘一份收获的道理。
“If the wood is nourished, the roots are solid and the branches are luxuriant; if the water is conserved, it will be able to expand the source of water, which is beneficial to irrigation.” For the students, the two-day farming activities were not only a physical journey, but also a spiritual journey. By taking part in this social practice, the students could go out of the campus, get close to nature, learn about agricultural production and establish labor concepts, develop labor habits, and promote the spirit of bearing hardships and standing hard work. They also learned to cherish the work and understood that no pains, no gains.
