Nanjing Foreign Language School (NFLS) is one of the seven oldest foreign language schools established under the direct guidance ofPremier Zhou Enlai. Nanjing Foreign Language Schooloffers four language courses in total: English, German, French and Japanese. It now consists of a junior middle school, a high school, and an international center. Nanjing Foreign Language Schoolhas a highly competitive faculty.Currently, it has 10 Senior Teachers at Professor Level, 15 Special Grade Teachers, and 3 Renowned Teachers of Nanjing. Furthermore, among the core teachers of NFLS, 32 of them have beenawarded the honorable title of Academic Leader either at provincial level or city level, and 55 of them won the title of Outstanding Young Teacher of Nanjing. So far, Nanjing Foreign Language School has educated about 200 outstanding diplomats for China, 10 of whom act as Ambassadors, 40 of whom act as counselors, business officers and military officers to other countries, and more than 40 of whom worked or are currently working for former Chairmen Deng Xiaoping, Jiang Zemin, Hu Jintao and current Chairman Xi Jinping.
