My name is Jason, I am the Physical Education teacher in the International High School Department at the Nanjing Foreign Language School Fangshan Campus. I am originally from Surrey, England that is situated between two iconic British locations of London and Windsor. I am a father to two adorable boys and a husband to my beautiful wife Nikita who I married back in 2019.
I graduated with a BSc in Sports & Exercise Sciences back in 2017 all the while teaching and coaching in local schools in my community. My degree has allowed me to work with a wide range of students and athletes, right from introduction to sports to elite competitors in the UK. My passion for teaching stems from the desire to help others develop and share my knowledge with the youth of not just England but the world. This mentality hasn’t changed in the 10 plus years I have been teaching in England. More recently I have been teaching in a Primary School near to me as a year 3 teacher covering lessons on English, Maths, Science as well as continuing to teach Physical Education.
My background has been sports based as I have been part of the same football team for over twenty-five years playing and also coaching students from four to eighteen. However, my other passions in life are travel and cinema with having the opportunity to visit such places as Australia, southeast Asia and Japan. Now I get to travel through China and see all the many wonders it has to offer. As mentioned, one of my other passions is cinema, especially Asian cinema, which one of my previous jobs was in a cinema as a supervisor which I enjoyed discussing my love for all different types of movies.
I hope to make a positive impact on the students learning as they develop in to young adults and progress on to their further studies and beyond.

2017年，我大学毕业，获得了体育与运动科学学士学位。之后，我便在社区的一所学校担任教师和教练。因工作之便，我得以接触到各类学生、运动员，他们中有的是运动新手，有的则是驰骋于体育竞技场上的佼佼者。对于教育事业，我饱含热情，期望与英国乃至全世界的年轻人分享我的知识、经验，帮助他们获得成长和进步。在英国执教的十多年里，我的这一教育理念从未动摇过。我的上一份工作是在家乡的一所小学担任三年级学生的教师，教授英语、数学、科学以及体育。
我最擅长的领域是体育，已经为同一支足球队效力了二十五年之久。在球队里，我主要负责教四岁到十八岁的孩子踢足球。除了体育，生活中的我还热爱旅游和观影。一有机会我就会去澳大利亚、东南亚各国和日本等地旅行。如今，我来到了中国工作，又可以踏上游历中国的旅程了，我非常期待能探寻这里的壮丽景致。我的另一爱好是观影，尤其青睐亚洲的电影。我之前的其中一份工作便是在电影院担任主管，那时我可以和很多人分享自己对各类影片的热爱和见解。
我希望自己能成为一位给学生带来积极影响的老师，希望在他们成长的过程中以及今后的深造学习中我都能给他们带来力量。
